Brian George (born 27 July 1952) is a British actor. He is well-known for playing funny characters and for his voice work in many popular cartoons and video games.

You might know him as Babu Bhatt, the restaurant owner in the TV show Seinfeld. He also played Raj Koothrappali's dad in The Big Bang Theory. For cartoons, he was the voice of Guru Pathik in Avatar: The Last Airbender and Duff Killigan in Kim Possible. He has also voiced characters in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and SpongeBob SquarePants.

About Brian George's Early Life

Brian George was born on July 27, 1952, in Nahariya, Israel. His parents were Jewish and came from India and Iraq. A year after he was born, his family moved to London, England. Then, in 1966, they moved again to Toronto, Canada. Brian is the youngest of four children.

He went to an all-boys school in London. When his family moved to Toronto, he switched to a public high school where both boys and girls attended. He later went to the University of Toronto and was very involved in theater plays there. He left college early to start his own theater group. When that didn't work out, he joined a famous comedy group called the Second City, where he trained with other talented actors like John Candy.

Brian George's Acting Career

Brian George has had a long and busy career in both live-action shows and voice acting. He is especially known for playing characters from different cultural backgrounds.

Live-Action Roles

Brian George has appeared in many TV shows and movies. One of his most famous roles was Babu Bhatt in the comedy show Seinfeld. Babu was a Pakistani restaurant owner who had some funny mix-ups with the main character, Jerry Seinfeld. Brian also played Dr. V.M. Koothrappali, the father of Raj, in the hit show The Big Bang Theory.

He was also in That's So Raven as Dr. Sleevemore, a "psychic doctor" who helped Raven with her visions. You might have seen him in NCIS, Grey's Anatomy, or The Mentalist. He even appeared in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager.

In movies, Brian George played a "Sore Guru" in Inspector Gadget. He was also the convenience store owner in the movie Ghost World and an ice cream vendor named Pushpop in Bubble Boy. He played a bartender in Keeping the Faith and a father in Shades of Ray.

Brian George is a very talented voice actor. He has lent his voice to many animated shows and video games that kids and teens love.

In Avatar: The Last Airbender, he was the voice of Guru Pathik, a wise spiritual guide. He also voiced Duff Killigan, a Scottish villain who uses exploding golf balls, in Kim Possible.

He has been in many superhero cartoons, including Batman: The Animated Series (as Jimmy "The Jazzman" Peake), Batman Beyond, Justice League (as Parasite and President George W.
