Brian George is a British-Canadian actor born on July 27, 1952. He is famous for playing different characters in TV shows and movies. You might know him as Babu Bhatt from Seinfeld or as Raj Koothrappali's dad in The Big Bang Theory. He also uses his voice for characters like Guru Pathik in Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Early Life and Education
Brian George was born in Nahariya, Israel, in 1952. His parents were Jewish and came from India and Iraq. When he was one year old, his family moved to London, England. In 1966, they moved again to Toronto, Canada. Brian is the youngest of four children.
He went to an all-boys school in London. When his family moved to Toronto, he switched to a public high school where both boys and girls attended. Brian later studied at the University of Toronto. There, he was very involved in school plays. He left college early to start his own theater group. After that, he joined The Second City, a famous comedy group, where he trained with other actors like John Candy.

He was in three episodes of Seinfeld as Babu Bhatt, a Pakistani restaurant owner. He also played Raj's father, Dr. V.M. Koothrappali, in The Big Bang Theory.
