Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years is a fun American cartoon show. It uses computer animation to bring the characters to life. The show was created by Stephen Hillenburg, who also made SpongeBob SquarePants. It first came out on Paramount+ on March 4, 2021.
This series is a prequel and spinoff of SpongeBob SquarePants. This means it tells a story that happened before the original show. It shows the main characters as younger kids. They are all attending a summer camp.

When Did Kamp Koral First Air?
The show was first planned to start on Nickelodeon in July 2020. However, the plans changed. On July 30, 2020, it was announced that the series would instead be released on Paramount+. This is a streaming service from ViacomCBS.
The first six episodes came out on March 4, 2021. They were released at the same time as The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run. Later, the show also started airing on Nickelodeon.
How Kamp Koral Was Made
Getting Started with the Idea
On February 14, 2019, Nickelodeon announced a new spinoff of SpongeBob SquarePants was being developed. This was exciting news for fans!
The Show Gets Approved
On June 4, 2019, Nickelodeon officially approved the show. It was given the working title Kamp Koral. They ordered 13 episodes to start. The show would use CG-animation, which is a different style from the original SpongeBob.
Official Title and Voice Actors
On February 19, 2020, the show got its official name: Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years. It was also confirmed that the original voice actors from SpongeBob SquarePants would return. This meant the characters would sound just like fans remembered. A short preview of the show was shown on Nickelodeon on January 10, 2021.
More Episodes Ordered
On March 4, 2021, even more good news came out. An extra 13 episodes were ordered! This brought the total number of episodes for the series to 26.
