Catherine Davis Higgins is an American voice actress, singer, and jazz pianist. She is well-known for her voice roles in many popular shows and games. Some of her most famous characters include Sakura Haruno in Naruto, Miles "Tails" Prower in the Sonic the Hedgehog video games, Frankie Stein in Monster High, Pauline in Super Mario, and Barbie in Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse. She also voices Purah in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Early Life and Music

Kate Higgins went to Auburn University where she studied music. She learned about jazz music from an artist named Bob Richardson. When she was younger, she often played classical piano at her mother's restaurant. Kate was also part of a band called the Auburn Knights. They played music at different places. She finished her music degree in 1991. After that, she moved to Los Angeles to follow her dream of a music career.

Voice Acting Career

Kate Higgins started her career by singing in commercials. Her first voice acting job was a small role as a singing cartoon squirrel. In 1998, she began doing voice-overs for the Disney Channel.

Since then, Kate has voiced many characters, especially in English versions of Japanese anime. She is famous as Sakura Haruno in Naruto and Talho Yuuki in Eureka 7. She also voiced C.C. in Code Geass and Saber in Fate/stay night.

From 2010 to 2013, Kate was the voice of Tails in the Sonic the Hedgehog video games. In 2014, she became the voice of Ami Mizuno / Sailor Mercury in the English version of Sailor Moon. She has also been the voice of Princess Aurora since 2010. Princess Aurora is a Disney Princess from the movie Sleeping Beauty.

Kate also voiced Frankie Stein in Monster High and Briar Beauty in Ever After High. She was also the voice of Barbie in Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse starting in 2012. Since 2017, she has voiced Pauline in the Mario games, starting with Super Mario Odyssey.

Music Career

Kate Higgins is a skilled jazz pianist. In 2002, she released her first jazz album, called The Tide is Low. Her second jazz album is named Stealing Freedom. She is also a member of a band called Upper Structure.
