How the Shorts Were Made
The DC Nation Shorts first appeared in March 2012. They were part of a special block called DC Nation on Cartoon Network. Warner Bros. Animation produced these fun shorts.
They aired alongside popular shows like Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice. Later, they were also shown with Beware the Batman and Teen Titans Go! in 2013. The shorts even helped bring back the Teen Titans show as Teen Titans Go!. This new show was based on the popular "New Teen Titans" shorts.
DC Nation Shorts was special because it was the first Cartoon Network original series made with both DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation. In 2011, Sam Register, an executive producer, promised new content every week for the block. This included new shows, special clips, or these exciting shorts.
