Big City Greens is a fun American animated TV show. It's a comedy and adventure series created by the Houghton brothers. The show first aired on Disney Channel on June 18, 2018. It is produced by Disney Television Animation. The main voices you hear are Chris Houghton, Marieve Herington, Bob Joles, and Artemis Pebdani.

What is Big City Greens About?
The show is all about the Green family. Their story begins when Bill Green loses his farm in the countryside. So, he and his two kids, Cricket and Tilly, move to the big city. They go to live with Bill's mom, Alice, who everyone calls Gramma. She has a small farm right in the middle of a huge city, which is perfectly named Big City!

Main Green Family Members
These are the main characters you'll see in the show:
- Cricket (voiced by Chris Houghton) is a country boy who loves to get into mischief. He's always barefoot! Cricket is super excited by everything new he finds in Big City.
- Tilly (voiced by Marieve Herington) is Cricket's older sister. She has a very unique and creative personality. Tilly often carries around Saxon, a special doll she made from an old sack.
- Bill (voiced by Bob Joles) is Cricket and Tilly's dad. He's a great farmer but can be a bit overprotective. This is because he once lost part of a finger in a farm accident.
- Gramma Alice (voiced by Artemis Pebdani) is Bill's mom and the kids' grandmother. She owns the Green family farm in Big City. Gramma Alice can seem tough, but she really loves her family a lot.

- Nancy (voiced by Wendi McLendon-Covey) is Cricket and Tilly's mom and Bill's ex-wife. She used to be a biker and is quite rebellious. Even though she and Bill are divorced, they are good friends. She is often around to see her kids.
- Remy (voiced by Zeno Robinson) is Cricket's best friend. He comes from a wealthy family and sometimes struggles with feeling confident.
- Gloria Sato (voiced by Anna Akana) works as a barista at Big Coffee. She becomes friends and co-workers with Cricket. Gloria dreams of saving enough money to move to Paris.
- Officer Keys (voiced by Andy Daly) is a police officer in Big City. He is always very cheerful and sometimes a little unaware of what's going on around him.
- Chip Whistler (voiced by Paul Scheer) is the Green family's main rival. He manages a big supermarket called Wholesome Foods. Chip often tries to make the Greens leave Big City, but his plans usually backfire and cause his front tooth to get chipped!
- Vasquez (voiced by Danny Trejo) is Remy's bodyguard. He looks after Remy when his parents are busy.
- Andromeda (voiced by Nicole Byer) is Tilly's best friend. She loves conspiracy theories and believes in aliens and other mysterious things.
- Maria Media (voiced by Raven-Symoné) is a local news reporter in Big City.
- Community Sue (voiced by Betsy Sodaro) runs the Big City Community Center. She talks very loudly and always encourages people to be healthy.
- Gwendolyn Zapp (voiced by Cheri Oteri) is the CEO of a tech company called BigTech. She's a quirky inventor who creates high-tech gadgets that sometimes go a bit wild!
How Big City Greens Was Made
On March 8, 2016, Disney XD first approved the idea for this show. It was originally called Country Club. The series was created by two brothers, Chris and Shane Houghton. Chris Houghton also worked on Gravity Falls as a storyboard artist.
Later, on July 24, 2017, the show's name was changed to Big City Greens. The catchy theme song was written and performed by a band called The Mowgli's. Fans got a first listen to the theme song at the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con. It was also put on the Disney XD YouTube channel that same day.
Even before the first episode aired, Disney Channel was so confident in the show that they ordered a second season on May 17, 2018! The show was later renewed for a third season on January 13, 2021.
When Big City Greens First Aired
The show was first planned to premiere on Disney XD in 2018. However, on March 26, 2018, it was announced that it would instead debut on Disney Channel.
Big City Greens officially premiered on Disney Channel on June 18, 2018. You could also watch the first episode early on the DisneyNow app and the Disney Channel YouTube channel starting June 8, 2018. New episodes continued to air throughout the summer. Short videos about Big City Greens also started appearing on Disney Channel and YouTube on June 4, 2018.
Big City Greens Video Game
There's a fun multiplayer game called Big City Battle! available on the DisneyNOW app. In this game, players compete against each other. The goal is to earn a spot as a member of the Green family!
