The show first aired in the United States on FOX on September 12, 1992. Even though it only had one season, a special episode called The Super Dave Superbowl of Knowledge was shown later, on January 29, 1994.
The series was based on the hilarious character Super Dave Osborne, created and played by Bob Einstein. Bob Einstein also provided the voice for Super Dave. His loyal assistant, Fuji Hakayito, was voiced by Art Irizawa. At the end of each episode, Bob and Art would even appear as their characters in short live-action skits!

Meet Super Dave Osborne & Fuji
Super Dave Osborne is a famous daredevil who loves to perform amazing stunts. The only problem is, his stunts almost always go wrong in a very funny way! He's known for his special suit and his never-give-up attitude, even when things don't go as planned.
Fuji Hakayito is Super Dave's helpful assistant. He often tries to warn Super Dave about dangers or helps him prepare for his stunts. Fuji is a very important part of Super Dave's team, always there to support him, no matter what crazy idea Super Dave comes up with next.
Voice Actors Behind the Characters
Bob Einstein was the voice of Super Dave Osborne. He was also the person who played Super Dave in real life. Art Irizawa voiced Fuji Hakayito.
During the show's run, the voice for Fuji was changed slightly. This happened after some groups shared their concerns with Fox about the character's original voice. Art Irizawa re-recorded all of Fuji's lines to make sure the character was presented in a better way.
