About the Show: Sheet Rock Hills Adventures
Handy Manny takes place in a town called Sheet Rock Hills. Manny owns a repair shop there. He works with his amazing talking tools. These tools can speak and have their own personalities! We don't know exactly where Sheet Rock Hills is, but it has many Spanish-speaking people. It also has tropical plants and is near the ocean.
Most episodes have two stories. They usually start with Manny and his tools at the repair shop. Someone will call Manny because they need something fixed. Manny answers, "Hola, Handy Manny's Repair Shop. You break it..." Then, the tools all shout, "We fix it!" After learning who needs help, Manny and the tools sing "Hop Up, Jump In." The tools then hop into Manny's toolbox, ready to go.
On their way to a job, Manny and the tools often see Mr. Lopart. He owns a candy store. Mr. Lopart usually tries to fix things himself without knowing how. Manny offers to help, but Mr. Lopart always says no. After Manny leaves, Mr. Lopart's project usually goes wrong and causes a mess.
Once Manny and the tools arrive, they work together to figure out how to fix the broken item. Manny then visits Kelly's hardware store. Kelly always has exactly what they need for the repair. With the right parts, they go back to the job site. They sing "Fix It Right" while they do the repairs. In every episode, they successfully fix the problem!
