James Adam Belushi (born June 15, 1954) is an American actor, comedian, and musician. He is famous for his roles in the TV shows Saturday Night Live (1983–1985) and According to Jim (2001–2009).
Belushi has also appeared in many movies. Some of his well-known films include Red Heat (1988), K-9 (1989), Curly Sue (1991), and Underdog (2007). He also voiced characters in animated movies like The Ghost Writer (2010).
He is the younger brother of the famous comedian John Belushi, who passed away in 1982. Jim's son, Robert Belushi, is also an actor.

Early Life and Education
James Adam Belushi was born on June 15, 1954, in Wheaton, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. His father, Adam, was from Albania, and his mother, Agnes, was the daughter of Albanian immigrants. Jim grew up with his older brother John, older sister Marian, and younger brother Billy.
After finishing high school in 1972, Jim Belushi went to the College of DuPage. Later, he graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 1978. He earned a degree in Speech and Theater Arts.
Acting Career
From 1977 to 1980, Belushi performed with The Second City, a famous comedy theater group in Chicago, just like his brother John did. His first TV show was Who's Watching the Kids in 1978. His first important movie role was in Thief (1981).
Television Stardom
After his brother's death, Jim joined the cast of Saturday Night Live from 1983 to 1985. He played funny characters like "That White Guy" and Jesse Donnelly.
In 2001, Belushi became the star of his own TV show, According to Jim. The show was very popular and ran for eight years. He also appeared in other shows, including an episode of ER and the drama The Defenders.
Movie Roles
Belushi became more famous with his roles in movies like About Last Night... and Little Shop of Horrors in 1986. These roles led to him getting the main parts in other films.

Personal Life
Belushi has been married three times and has three children. His son, Robert Belushi, born in 1980, followed in his father's footsteps and became an actor.
He is very proud of his Albanian roots. In 2008, he was given honorary Albanian citizenship by the President of Albania. Belushi is a big sports fan and supports Chicago teams like the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs.
In 2015, Belushi bought a home in Eagle Point, Oregon, where he started a large farm. He helps raise money for local projects, such as rebuilding the historic Butte Creek Mill.
