M. G. Harris, whose full name is Maria Guadalupe Harris, was born in August 1966. She is a popular author known for her exciting children's book series, The Joshua Files. She also helped create the Gemini Force One book series, which was originally planned by the famous author Gerry Anderson.

M. G. Harris was born in Mexico City. When she was very young, her family moved to Manchester, England. Before she became a writer, she had a different career. She worked as a scientist and even ran her own online business! Today, she lives in Oxford.

The Joshua Files Series
M. G. Harris got the idea for The Joshua Files series after visiting ancient Mayan ruins in Yucatán. She started writing the first book, Invisible City, while she was recovering from a skiing accident. She had broken her leg!

Gemini Force One Series
After the well-known author Gerry Anderson passed away in 2012, his son Jamie Anderson asked M. G. Harris for help. He wanted her to continue Gerry's ideas for a new book series called Gemini Force One. M. G. Harris agreed to take on this exciting project.
