Christopher Brendan Ward IV (born September 2, 1975), known by his stage name MC Chris, is an American rapper, voice actor, comedian, and writer. He is famous for his high-pitched voice and for mixing his love of "geek" culture, like video games and cartoons, with a "gangsta rap" style. This unique mix helped make the nerdcore music genre popular.

Early Life and Education
Christopher Ward was born in Libertyville, Illinois. He was interested in art from a young age. He went on to study at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
Career
MC Chris has had a successful career in both voice acting and music. He is known for his creative work on television and his unique style of rap.
Voice Acting for Television
Many people know MC Chris from his work on the Adult Swim channel. He worked on the popular cartoon Aqua Teen Hunger Force. On the show, he was the voice of the character MC Pee Pants. He also voiced a younger version of the character Carl. He returned to voice MC Pee Pants in the movie Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters and a video game.
He also worked on other Adult Swim shows. He was a writer and voice actor for Sealab 2021, where he played the character Hesh Hepplewhite. He was also a writer and production assistant for The Brak Show.
In 2004, MC Chris decided to leave his job at Cartoon Network. He wanted to focus on his music career and start touring. He later returned to voice acting for Adult Swim in shows like Cheyenne Cinnamon and the Fantabulous Unicorn of Sugar Town Candy Fudge.
In 2022, he voiced MC Pee Pants again in a web series called Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Aquadonk Side Pieces. He also started a weekly podcast in 2025 called None of This Matters with fellow actor Dana Snyder.
