MC Juice's Journey in Music
Early Life and Moving Around
Juice spent his first four years in Chicago, Illinois. After that, his family moved to California. When he was 20, after finishing high school, he moved back to Chicago. Later, after a car accident, he moved back to Los Angeles, California.
Becoming a Freestyle Legend
MC Juice became very famous in the world of freestyle battles. Freestyle rap is when a rapper makes up rhymes on the spot. Many people say he is one of the best freestyle battle rappers ever. He had a long winning streak, which is very rare. He won against many famous rappers like Rhymefest, Dose One, and even Eminem. His battle with Eminem is one of the most well-known rap battles in history.
After these battles, Juice showed off his amazing skills on "The Wake Up Show" with Sway and King Tech. He also freestyled at every one of his live performances.
Collaborations and Documentaries
Juice was featured on a song called "The KGB." This was with the underground hip hop group Binary Star. The song was on their popular album Masters of the Universe in 2000. His rap battle with fellow freestyler Supernatural was shown in a documentary. This film was called Freestyle: The Art of Rhyme.
By 2007, MC Juice had his own live band. It was a six-piece band called "Juice and the Machine." They released a DVD of their first live show. It was titled Juice And The Machine: Live At The Party.
