Maddie Mastro is an amazing American snowboarder. She was born on February 22, 2000. Maddie is really good at the "halfpipe" event. This is where snowboarders ride a U-shaped ramp. She won a bronze medal at the X Games in 2018. She also joined the US team for the 2018 Winter Olympics.

On January 18, 2025, Maddie made history again. She was at the Laax Open competition. She became one of the first two women to land a "double cork 1080" in a halfpipe. This is another incredibly difficult trick. She landed a "frontside double cork 1080." Another snowboarder, Chloe Kim, landed a similar trick earlier that day. These tricks show how much women's snowboarding is growing.
