Mahsun Kırmızıgül was born in Hani, Turkey, on March 26, 1969. His birth name is Abdullah Bazencir. His family comes from the Zaza people. He grew up in Diyarbakır, where he went to primary and secondary school.
From a young age, Mahsun worked to help his family. He even sang at weddings to earn money. In 1984, he was invited to Istanbul to record an album. He also began studying music at Istanbul University.
Starting His Music Journey
Mahsun Kırmızıgül started making music in 1980. He recorded eight amateur albums before his big break. His first professional album, Alem Buysa Kral Sensin, came out in 1993. It quickly became very popular and topped the music charts.
In 1994, he joined Prestij Music Company as a producer. This meant he helped other artists create their music.
