Mary Joy "Majoy" Dela Cruz Baron (born December 12, 1995) is a talented Filipino volleyball player. She went to De La Salle University for college. There, she played for their amazing volleyball team. Majoy is currently a middle blocker for the PLDT High Speed Hitters. She also plays for the Philippine National Women's Volleyball Team.

About Majoy Baron

Majoy Baron grew up in Concepcion, Tarlac, in the Philippines. She went to Concepcion Catholic School. Besides being a great athlete, Majoy also works as a model.

Majoy's Volleyball Journey

Majoy Baron has had an exciting career in volleyball. She has played for college teams, professional clubs, and even the national team.

College Success

Majoy was a key player for the DLSU Lady Spikers. This is the volleyball team of De La Salle University. She helped them win the women's UAAP Volleyball Championship three times in a row. These wins were from 2016 to 2018.

In April 2016, Majoy won the "Best Blocker" award in UAAP Season 78. The next year, she was named the "Most Valuable Player" for UAAP Season 79. In her final year of college volleyball, she was the team captain. She led her team to their third championship in a row.

Playing for Clubs

Majoy played for the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers club team for many years. With them, she won the 2017 PSL Grand Prix Conference championship. She also received the "Second Best Middle Blocker" award. Over the years, she won many "Best Middle Blocker" awards in different leagues.

In late 2023, the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers team was no longer playing. Majoy then joined the PLDT High Speed Hitters. She continues to play as a middle blocker for them.

National Team Experience

From 2018 to 2022, Majoy was a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team. She played as a middle blocker for her country. She took part in the 2019 ASEAN Grand Prix. During this tournament, she was named the "Best Middle Blocker" in both parts of the competition.
