Malcolm Kelley's Career Journey

Malcolm Kelley has had an exciting career in both acting and music. He started acting when he was young and later became part of a popular music duo.

Early Acting Roles

Malcolm's first big acting role was in the 2002 movie Antwone Fisher. In this film, he played the main character as a child. Before that, he had smaller roles in TV shows like Malcolm in the Middle and Judging Amy. His next movie role was in You Got Served, where he played a character named Lil Saint.

Playing Walt in Lost

In 2004, Malcolm was chosen to play Walt in the TV show Lost. He was a regular cast member in the first season of the show. However, he grew very quickly, so he appeared less often in later seasons. He returned for special appearances in the third, fourth, and fifth seasons. He also came back one last time for a mini-episode called "The New Man in Charge" that was on the Season 6 DVD.

Other TV and Movie Roles

After his time as a main character on Lost, Malcolm appeared in other TV shows. He had a repeating role as Benjamin Cooley on Saving Grace.

In 2010, he played the main character, Finn, in the TeenNick show Gigantic. This show lasted for one season. In 2014, he appeared as himself on The Thundermans with his MKTO bandmate, Tony Oller. More recently, in 2017, he acted in the movies True to the Game and Detroit.

Music with MKTO

In 2012, Malcolm Kelley and his friend Tony Oller formed a pop music group called MKTO. Tony Oller was also his co-star on the show Gigantic. They signed a record deal with Columbia Records.

In 2013, Malcolm recorded a song called "Save Your Soul" with Celine Dion. This song was included on the vinyl version of Dion's album Loved Me Back to Life.

MKTO released their first album, called MKTO, on April 1, 2014. Their song "Classic" became a big hit in the summer of 2014. It reached number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, which lists the most popular songs in the United States.
