Manor is a ghost town located in Ohio, United States. A ghost town is a place where most people have left. It was once a busy railway stop. This means trains used to stop there to pick up or drop off people and goods.

Manor is in Montgomery County, within Washington Township. It was built along the Cincinnati, Lebanon, and Northern Railway. This railway connected the towns of Centerville and Lytle. You could find Manor on Social Row Road, about one mile east of State Route 48.

Rosedale's History

Between the years 1898 and 1918, maps showed this area as "Rosedale." In 1900, Rosedale was noted as a small town. It was a quiet place with a few buildings and people.

Big Bend Park: A Former Station

Today, the land where the Manor railway station once stood is a park. It is called Big Bend Park. The Centerville-Washington Park District takes care of this park.

You can still see parts of the old railroad track bed there. This old track is now a walking trail. It's a great place to explore and imagine what the area was like long ago. At this station, the southbound train tracks would split. They would then join back together near the Lytle station.
