Marcos Juárez is a city in the province of Córdoba, Argentina. It is an important city and the main town of the Marcos Juárez Department. In 2010, about 27,000 people lived there. The city is located in the southeastern part of Córdoba, about 267 kilometers (166 miles) southeast of the provincial capital, Córdoba. It sits right on National Route 9, very close to the border with the Santa Fe province.
Marcos Juárez is known for hosting exciting events. For example, in 1983, it was the location of the World Five-pin Billiards Championship. An Argentinian player named Miguel Angel Borrelli won the championship that year!
