Marie Elisabeth Wrede spent time studying art in Paris, France. She learned from a well-known artist named Fernand Léger. While in Paris, she met many other famous artists and thinkers. These included Paul Valéry, Robert and Sonia Delaunay, and even the legendary Pablo Picasso. Marie Elisabeth Wrede actually drew a portrait of Picasso himself!
