Early Life and TV Success (1998–2011)

Marina Marie Madeleine Dalmas was born in Marseille, France. She grew up in a town called Allauch. Marina loved music from a young age. When she was about ten, she started sharing videos of herself singing cover songs on her YouTube channel.

When she was 13, Marina entered a TV show called La France a un incroyable talent. This show is like the French version of Got Talent. On December 14, 2011, she won the competition! She impressed everyone by singing popular songs like "Rolling in the Deep" and "Set Fire to the Rain" by Adele, and "Firework" by Katy Perry.

After winning the show, Marina decided to take a break from singing because of some difficulties at school. But then she met someone named Jan Erik Frogg, who helped her change her mind and start singing again.

In 2012, Marina had the chance to perform as an opening act for a French musical show. She also opened for famous bands like Thirty Seconds to Mars and for singer Florent Pagny. In 2014, she opened for five concerts by the violinist Lindsey Stirling in France.
