Marina Ryndzyunskaya was born in a city called Petrozavodsk in Karelia, a beautiful region in Russia. Later, her family moved to Astrakhan. She became a very important artist in Russia.

Joining the Art World

In 1926, Marina became a member of the Society of Russian Sculptors. This was a group where sculptors could meet and share their ideas. They even held their meetings in her own art studio!

Marina's work was shown in big art exhibitions. In 1927, she participated in a special exhibition in Moscow. This show celebrated the tenth anniversary of the October Revolution, a major event in Russian history.
