Stanford Mark Juddery (born 8 March 1971 – died 13 January 2015) was an Australian writer. He worked as a freelance journalist, author, and humorist. He also wrote a regular column for The Canberra Times newspaper.
His articles appeared in many other newspapers like The Australian and The Sydney Morning Herald. He also wrote for magazines such as The Bulletin, Empire, and Mad Magazine. Mark Juddery also created funny sketches for radio and TV. He wrote, directed, and performed in short comedy plays around the world.
Mark Juddery's Life and Work
Mark Juddery was a movie critic and writer for several years. He also worked as a publicist for the National Film and Sound Archive. In 2003, he wrote an e-book about how to review movies.
Besides movies and humor, Mark was interested in Eastern spirituality. When he was 19, he studied with a meditation teacher named Sri Chinmoy. He continued to meditate regularly throughout his life.

In 2010, his book Busted! was updated and released in the United States. It was published by Perigree Books, part of Penguin Books. The new title was Overrated: The 50 Most Overhyped Things in History. Some chapters were changed because they were about topics not well known to American readers.
His Column and Later Years
Mark Juddery lived in Canberra, Australia. From 2007, he wrote a popular weekly column for The Canberra Times.
In early 2014, Mark was diagnosed with cancer. This happened just as his book Best. Times. Ever was about to be released. He wrote about his illness, saying he intended to fight it. Mark Juddery passed away from cancer on 13 January 2015, when he was 43 years old.
Mark was the son of Bruce Juddery (1941–2003). His father was also a journalist for The Canberra Times.
