Martibel Payano (born on August 7, 1988) is an American professional wrestler. She is best known by her ring name Marti Belle. She became famous for her time with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). There, she was a NWA World Women's Tag Team Champion.

Marti Belle also wrestles on the American independent circuit. She has worked for groups like Evolve and Shimmer Women Athletes. She also wrestled for Shine Wrestling and Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU). For WSU, she was a WSU Spirit Champion once. She was also a WSU Tag Team Champion two times.

Marti Belle's Wrestling Journey

Starting Out in Wrestling (2008–2009)

Marti Belle began her wrestling journey on June 12, 2008. She first appeared for World of Unpredictable Wrestling. She was a valet for Tristan Spade. A valet helps a wrestler outside the ring.

Her first wrestling match was on November 7, 2009. This was also for World of Unpredictable Wrestling. She competed against Tina San Antonio and Sweet Pea. The match ended with all three wrestlers counted out.

Time with Women Superstars Uncensored (2010–2014)

Marti Belle joined Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU) on March 6, 2010. She teamed with Tina San Antonio in her first match. They lost to The Boston Shore. On November 26, Belle and Tina San Antonio formed a team called The Belle Saints. They won the WSU Tag Team Championship. They kept their titles in a match later that night.

At WSU's 4th Anniversary Show, Belle defended the tag titles. Her partner was Jazz because Tina was injured. They won a three-way match. On May 27, The Belle Saints lost their championships.

On June 16, 2012, Belle won the WSU Spirit Championship. She defeated Jessicka Havok for the title. She successfully defended her title against Nikki Addams on October 13. She also won against Ezavel Suena on October 12, 2013. After that match, Suena attacked Belle. This led to a "Title vs Mask" rematch.

On February 8, 2014, Belle lost her title to Suena. Suena then took off her mask and was revealed as Niya. Marti Belle held the WSU Spirit Championship for 602 days. This is the longest time anyone has held that title.

Wrestling on the Independent Scene (2010–Present)

Marti Belle also wrestled for other groups. She debuted for Evolve on September 8, 2012. She also wrestled for Shine Wrestling in November 2012. In 2012, she also appeared for Ring of Honor and Pro Wrestling Syndicate.

She had her first singles win with Shimmer on October 18. She defeated Solo Darling in that match.

First Appearances (2014)

Marti Belle first appeared at a TNA event on May 10, 2014. It was called Knockouts Knockdown 2. She won her match against ODB.

Joining The Dollhouse (2015-2016)

In April 2015, TNA started showing videos about "The Dollhouse." This group included Marti Belle and Jade. Marti's name was changed to Marti Bell. Jade and Bell debuted on April 24. They acted like wild, childlike characters. They attacked the referee and ring announcer. Later, they helped Taryn Terrell keep her TNA Knockouts Championship. Terrell then joined The Dollhouse.

The Dollhouse had their first team match on May 8. They defeated Awesome Kong and Gail Kim. Bell and Jade often helped Terrell win her championship matches. At Slammiversary XIII, The Dollhouse lost a match to Awesome Kong and Brooke. After Terrell lost her championship, Bell challenged Brooke for the title. She lost after Gail Kim caused a distraction.

Competing Alone (2016–2017)

In 2016, The Dollhouse group broke up. The three members turned against each other. This happened after Jade won the Knockouts Championship. Marti Belle returned at TNA Slammiversary 2016. She hit Jade with a baton during a match. This made Jade lose her championship to Sienna. This started a rivalry between Marti and Jade.

Marti continued to compete for the Knockouts title. She was in a four-way match on July 12. She also competed against Madison Rayne and Allie. Her last match for the company was on September 15. On January 18, 2017, Marti Belle left TNA.

Time with WWE (2017)

On July 12, 2017, it was announced that Marti Belle would compete in WWE's new show. This show was called the Mae Young Classic. She was eliminated in the first round by Rachel Evers. She also appeared in a tag team match on July 14, 2017.

National Wrestling Alliance (2019–2020; 2021)

On May 12, 2019, Marti Belle returned to ROH. She tried to win the NWA World Women's Championship but lost. She debuted on the NWA's weekly show, NWA Power, on October 22. She won her match against Crystal Rose.

On November 5, Marti Belle teamed up with Thunder Rosa. They attacked Allysin Kay. This made Belle a "heel," which means she played the role of a bad guy. On November 17, 2020, Belle announced she was leaving NWA.

In August 2021, NWA announced Belle's return. She teamed with Allysin Kay, and they called themselves The Hex. They competed in a tournament to crown new NWA World Women's Tag Team Champions. At the event on August 28, The Hex won the tournament. They defeated Red Velvet and KiLynn King to become the new champions.

Return to Ring of Honor (2021, 2023–Present)

In 2021, Marti Belle debuted for Ring of Honor (ROH). She entered the first ROH Women's World Championship tournament. She lost in the first round to Trish Adora.

On October 14, 2023, Belle returned to Ring of Honor again. She lost a match against Mercedes Martinez. On April 18, 2024, she lost to Lady Frost.

Return to Impact Wrestling (2023–Present)

On January 20, 2023, Marti Belle and Allysin Kay returned to Impact Wrestling. They were with Father James Mitchell. They attacked Rosemary, Jessicka, and Taya Valkyrie. At No Surrender, The Hex tried to win the Impact Knockouts World Tag Team Championship. However, they were not successful against The Death Dollz.
