Martin & Roman's Weekend Best! is a fun British TV show that airs on ITV. It used to be called Martin & Roman's Sunday Best!. This show is hosted by a father and son team, Martin Kemp and Roman Kemp.

The show first started on June 14, 2020, and quickly became popular. It's a mix of different things, like talking to famous people, watching musical performances, and playing exciting games. Viewers at home can even join in the fun using video calls!

After a successful first season, the show came back on April 17, 2021. It changed its name to Weekend Best! because it now airs on both Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Fun Games on the Show

The show features many exciting games that the hosts, their celebrity guests, and even families at home can play. Here are some of the popular segments:

  • Act It Out

This is a musical charades game. Two teams, Team Martin and Team Roman, compete with their celebrity guests. They have to act out songs without speaking!

  • Cover Stars

In this game, album covers are changed to show Martin and Roman's faces. The guests then have to guess the correct artist and the name of the album.

  • Guess the Record

Roman challenges guests to guess which song was the number one hit "on this day" from a past year. It's a great way to learn about music history!

  • Kazoo-aoke

Imagine singing a song using a kazoo! In this game, the two host-guest pairs try to perform songs on kazoos. Families watching at home then try to guess the song title or lyrics.

  • Lyric Maestro

This game tests how well the teams know song lyrics. Martin and Roman's teams try to guess the correct song just by hearing some of the spoken lyrics.

  • Memories Mixtape

Guests share special songs that remind them of certain memories or themes. It's a chance to hear personal stories and discover new music.

  • Our Best Picks!

Martin, Roman, and their guests recommend their favorite TV shows to watch. They suggest shows available on different streaming services, including BritBox.
