Carl Martin Gunnar Wallström Milkéwitz (born July 7, 1983) is a Swedish actor who has appeared in movies and television shows. He is a well-known actor in his home country of Sweden. He became famous around the world for his role as Tyrell Wellick in the American TV show Mr. Robot.

Early Life and Education
Martin Wallström was born in Uddevalla, a town in Sweden. He started acting when he was just a teenager. He enjoyed it so much that he decided to study it in college.
In 2004, he went to the Academy of Music and Drama at the University of Gothenburg. He studied acting there for four years and graduated in 2008.
Acting Career
Wallström's acting career began when he was 15 years old. He appeared in a Swedish movie called Hela Härligheten. Since then, he has acted in many productions in Sweden and other European countries.
Getting Started in Sweden
After graduating, Wallström acted in several Swedish movies. In 2008, he had a role in the film Arn: The Kingdom at the End of the Road. He also appeared in two movies from the popular Johan Falk crime series.
In 2010, he starred in a Swedish movie called Simple Simon. This film was very successful and was even considered for an Academy Award. In 2013, he was in Easy Money III: Life Deluxe, the third movie in a popular action trilogy.
Becoming Famous in America
In 2014, Wallström got his biggest international role. He was cast as a main character in the American TV show Mr. Robot. He played Tyrell Wellick, a smart and ambitious technology executive. The show's main character, Elliot, was played by Rami Malek.
To get the part, Wallström sent in videos of himself acting. The show was a big hit and made him famous outside of Sweden. He was a main cast member for all four seasons of the show.
Other Roles
Besides Mr. Robot, Wallström has acted in other English-language projects. He was in the World War II movie Ashes in the Snow and a science-fiction film called Parallel, which were both released in 2018. He also did voice acting for an episode of the animated show Jeff & Some Aliens.
Wallström has also recorded many audiobooks in the Swedish language.
Personal Life
Wallström was married to Lisa Linnertorp, who is also an actress from Sweden. They have a son and a daughter. The couple divorced in 2021.
He can speak both Swedish and English.
