Maryoku Yummy is an American animated TV show for children. It was shown on The Hub channel from October 11 to November 15, 2010. The show is based on a greeting card character named Maryoku Yummy, created in 2001. Jeffrey Conrad of American Greetings developed the idea for the show. Production started in 2007 with a company called DQ Entertainment.

What is Maryoku Yummy About?
Maryoku Yummy takes place in a magical world called Nozomu. This world is filled with special creatures called Yummy. There are also small creatures called Wishes. These Wishes come from children and are sent to Nozomu.
The Yummy creatures help these Wishes come true. Three main Yummy characters, Maryoku, Ooka, and Fij Fij, are "Wish Sitters." They help guide the Wishes. There is one special Wish named Fudan. He is yellow and blue and can talk. Unlike other Wishes, he lives in Nozomu even though his wish hasn't come true yet.
Meet the Characters
The show features many fun characters. They all live in the world of Nozomu.
Main Characters
- Maryoku: She is the main hero of the show. Maryoku is pink with yellow swirly antennae and a spiral tail. She makes sure all Wishes feel loved and supported. Maryoku always helps her friends.
- Ooka: She is Maryoku's best friend. Ooka is blue-green with green antennae. She often tries to avoid work, which sometimes gets her into trouble. But Ooka also knows how to have a lot of fun.
- Fij Fij: He is Maryoku's other best friend. Fij Fij is yellow with a pink nose. He is very shy and careful. Luckily, Maryoku helps him be brave. He also seems to like Maryoku a lot.
- Hadagi: She leads another Wish-Sitting team. Hadagi is purple with yellow star antennae. She can be a bit bossy and sometimes feels jealous of Maryoku. Hadagi also loves to compete. But she can be friendly too.
- Bob: He is the Yummies' wish deliverer. Bob is yellow and wears a wish hat. He delivers Wishes to Nozomu very quickly. Bob also adds a lot of humor to his job.
- Shika: He is the Yummies' chief officer. Shika is blue and wears a green hat. He knows all the rules and gets upset when people don't follow them.
- Nonki: He is Nozomu's inventor. Nonki is teal and wears a construction hat. He is very smart and can fix almost anything. He is tall and usually quiet, often saying "yup" or "nope."
- Yuzu: He is Nonki's best friend. Yuzu is yellow and white with a green leaf antennae. He also enjoys inventing things. Sometimes his inventions don't work out perfectly. He is shorter and usually does most of the talking.
Supporting Characters
- Omoshi: He is Nozomu's chef. Omoshi is green and wears a chef's hat. He doesn't use recipe books. Instead, he creates his own unique recipes.
- Tapo Tapo: He is the Yummies' leader. Tapo Tapo is blue with yellow spiral antennae. He is very wise and always helps the Yummies when they are stuck.
- Fudan: He is a yellow and blue Wish whose wish hasn't been granted yet. Fudan lives with Tapo Tapo. He is Maryoku's favorite Wish.
- Enro: She is the Yummies' fitness teacher and coach. Enro is orange and yellow. She wears a whistle that makes different sounds. She teaches Wishes to exercise and helps Maryoku with difficult Wishes.
- Zuno: She is the Yummies' wish doctor. Zuno is red and wears a doctor's mirror. Maryoku says she can make anyone feel better very quickly.
- Mabui: She is Shika's assistant. Mabui is pink with a yellow eggshell antennae. Her singing makes Shika dance.
- Jeppy: He is Omoshi's assistant. Jeppy is orange with a yellow striped tail. He speaks with a French accent.
- Oolong: He is Hadagi's assistant. Oolong is orange with a yellow star tail. He cannot speak but communicates with body language. He is the biggest and strongest Yummy, but also very caring.
- Baburu: She is a blue member of Hadagi's team. Baburu lives in a bubble and has a good sense of humor. She is sarcastic and often helps Hadagi think clearly.
- Bishu: She is Tapo Tapo's flying assistant. Bishu is purple with pink antennae. She watches over the community. Bishu always knows what is happening.
- Inu: He is Fij Fij's pet. Inu is a small, dog-like Yummy. He is blue and white. Inu is very playful and friendly to everyone. He also likes to fetch Shika's hat.
- Wishy Wish: He is an older character from Maryoku Yummy. Wishy Wish is a purple Wish with a small blue flower. He knows all about celebrations and parties.
- Wishy Woo: She is another older character from Maryoku Yummy. Wishy Woo is a green Wish with pastel pink on her body. She loves jokes and giggling.
