María Antonia Trujillo Rincón was born on December 18, 1960. She is a politician from Spain and a member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE).

Her Early Life and Studies

María Antonia Trujillo was born in a town called Peraleda del Zaucejo, in Badajoz, Spain. She went to the University of Extremadura where she studied law. She earned advanced degrees in law and later became a professor there. She taught about Constitutional Law, which is the study of the rules that govern a country.

Her Work in Government

María Antonia Trujillo has held important roles in the Spanish government. From 1999 to 2004, she worked as an advisor in the regional government of Extremadura. This government was led by Juan Carlos Rodríguez Ibarra.

Minister of Housing

Later, from 2004 to 2007, she became the Minister of Housing for Spain. This was during the time when José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero was the Prime Minister. As Minister of Housing, her job was to help make sure people had good places to live. She worked on policies related to homes and buildings across the country.

Work in Morocco

In 2019, María Antonia Trujillo moved to Morocco. There, she led the Spanish Ministry of Education's office in Rabat. This meant she was in charge of Spanish education programs in Morocco. She held this position until May 2022.
