Early Career and Loans
In his first few years, Masahiro played several games as an attacking midfielder for Yokohama F. Marinos. In 2001, he went on loan to Mito HollyHock, a club in the J2 League (a lower division). There, he played many matches and became a regular player. He even scored 7 goals during his time there.
In 2002, he returned to Yokohama F. Marinos. However, he found it hard to get playing time. Later that year, he went on another loan, this time to Albirex Niigata, another J2 club.
Becoming a Regular Player

In 2006, he moved to Tokyo Verdy, a J2 club, where he continued to play many matches. The next year, in 2007, he joined Kawasaki Frontale. For two seasons, he often came on as a substitute midfielder, helping his team from the bench.
Playing Abroad and Return to Japan

In 2010, he came back to Japan and rejoined Mito HollyHock in the J2 League, nine years after his first time there. He played many games and was a regular player once again.
