Masaki Iida (飯田 真輝, Iida Masaki, born 15 September 1985 in Ibaraki) is a Japanese football player. He plays as a centre-back for Nara Club. A centre-back is a player who helps protect the goal and stop the other team from scoring.

Masaki Iida's Football Journey
Masaki Iida started his football journey playing for his high school team, RKU Kashiwa High School, from 2001 to 2003. After high school, he continued to play football while attending Ryutsu Keizai University.
Playing for University and Early Club Teams
From 2005 to 2007, Masaki Iida played for Ryutsu Keizai University F.C.. During this time, he also had a chance to play for a professional club. In 2006, he was loaned to Tokyo Verdy, which means he played for them for a short period. He played two games for Tokyo Verdy during this loan.
After his university years, Masaki Iida officially joined Tokyo Verdy in 2008. He played for them until 2010.
Time at Matsumoto Yamaga
Masaki Iida spent a very important part of his career at Matsumoto Yamaga. He joined them in 2010 and stayed for nine years, until 2019. This was his longest time with any club.
