Masaru Matsuhashi (born March 22, 1985) is a former Japanese football player. He was known for playing mostly for the team Ventforet Kofu. He played as both a striker (someone who scores goals) and a defender (someone who stops goals).

His older brother, Shota Matsuhashi, is also a professional football player.

Masaru Matsuhashi: A Football Journey

Masaru Matsuhashi was born in Isahaya, Nagasaki, Japan. He started his football journey early, playing for his high school team, Kunimi High School, from 2000 to 2002. After that, he continued to play football while attending Waseda University from 2003 to 2006.

Starting Professional Football

Matsuhashi began his professional career in 2007 with Oita Trinita. He played for this team for two seasons, in 2007 and 2008. During his time with Oita Trinita, he helped the team win the J.League Cup in 2008. This was a big achievement early in his career!

In 2009, Masaru Matsuhashi joined Ventforet Kofu, where he spent most of his career. He played for Ventforet Kofu for a long time, from 2009 until he retired in 2019.
