Masaru Uchiyama (内山 勝, Uchiyama Masaru, born April 14, 1957) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender. Masaru also played for the Japan national team. His brother, Atsushi Uchiyama, was also a player for the Japan national team.

Early Career and Yamaha Motors
Masaru Uchiyama was born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, on April 14, 1957. After finishing his studies at the University of Tsukuba, he joined a football club called Yamaha Motors in 1980.
Club Success and Retirement
During his time with Yamaha Motors, Masaru helped his team win some big titles. They won the 1982 Emperor's Cup in 1982. They also won the 1987–88 Japan Soccer League in the 1987–88 season. Masaru played for Yamaha Motors until he retired in 1989. He played in 122 league games and scored 4 goals for the club.
