Masha Rasputina is a famous Russian pop singer. Her real name is Alla Nikolayevna Ageeva. She became very popular in the 1990s and early 2000s. In 2003, she had a huge hit song called "Roza chaynaya," which means "Tea Rose." She sang this song with another popular artist, Philipp Kirkorov.

About Masha Rasputina's Early Life
Masha Rasputina was born in a place called Inskoy, in Kemerovo Oblast, in 1964. Her father worked at a power station, and her mother was a hydrologist. When she was a child, Masha moved to a village named Urop and lived with her grandparents.
At first, Masha thought about studying something technical, like her parents. But she soon realized she loved music more. She decided to leave her technical studies and focus on her passion. She moved to Moscow and tried out for many different music groups. Eventually, she joined a music group in Moscow. She also studied at the Kemerovo State University of Culture and Arts. After that, she earned another degree in choir conducting from the Tver Musical School in 1988.

After finishing her education, Masha Rasputina moved to Moscow to start her music career. She made her first appearance on a Soviet TV show called Morning Post with a song called "Igray muzykant." This is when she started using the stage name Masha Rasputina, which a friend suggested to her.

Masha released her first album, Gorodskaya sumasshedshaya (which means A Town's Mad Girl), in 1991. One of her first big performances was a duet with Vyacheslav Dobrynin at the 1991 Pesnya goda (Song of the Year) event. As she became more famous in Russia in the early 1990s, Masha wanted to share her music with people outside of Russia. She released an album with Russian songs called I was born in Siberia. This album was very popular in Russia and other Russian-speaking areas, even though it didn't become famous abroad. Later Career and Collaborations
Around 1999, Masha Rasputina took a break from performing many concerts because she was going to have her second child in 2000. In 2003, she started working closely with Philipp Kirkorov. Their first song together, "Roza chaynaya" (Tea Rose), became one of the biggest hits in Russia that year. Another duet they sang, "Dzhalma," also did very well on the music charts. In the same year, she released her most successful album, also called Roza chaynaya. Her next solo song, "Mechty" (Dreams), also became very popular.
During this time, Masha Rasputina toured all over the country and appeared on many TV shows. One notable appearance was on Fabrika Zvyozd (Star Factory), where she performed with some of the show's contestants. In 2007, after another hit duet with Kirkorov called "Proshay" (Goodbye), her public appearances became less frequent. In 2011, she announced that she would no longer perform on big stages, choosing instead to sing at smaller events. In 2015, she released a new song called "Zhyoltye list'ya" (Yellow Leaves).
