MasterChef Singapore is a super fun TV show from Singapore. It's a cooking competition where people show off their amazing kitchen skills! The idea for the show came from the original MasterChef show in Britain.
It's made by companies called Beach House Pictures and Motion Content Group. You can watch it on Mediacorp Channel 5. The main judges are famous chefs: Bjorn Shen, Damian D'Silva, and Audra Morrice. Audra was even a finalist on MasterChef Australia and a judge on MasterChef Asia!
The first season started on September 2, 2018. A second season was announced in August 2020. It then premiered on February 21, 2021. The third season of MasterChef Singapore began on May 1, 2022.
About MasterChef Singapore
MasterChef Singapore is a reality competition. It challenges home cooks to create delicious dishes. They face many different cooking tasks. The judges decide who has the best food. The winner gets the title of MasterChef.
Meet the Judges
The show has three main judges. They are all very experienced chefs.
- Bjorn Shen is a chef and owner of a restaurant called Artichoke.
- Damian D'Silva is an executive chef at Restaurant Kin.
- Audra Morrice was a finalist on MasterChef Australia. She was also a judge on MasterChef Asia.
They taste all the food. Then they give their honest opinions. Their decisions help decide who moves forward.

Special Episodes
There was also a special two-part series. It aired in November 2019. In this special, four past contestants came back. They helped mentor four new cooks. These new contestants came from backgrounds where they might not have had many chances. The winner of this special got an internship in the food industry. This helped them learn even more about cooking!
