Masury (pronounced MAY-zər-ee) is a small community in eastern Trumbull County, Ohio, United States. It is not a city but a "census-designated place." This means it is an area identified by the government for statistics. It does not have its own local government like a city or town. In 2020, about 2,001 people lived there. Masury is part of the larger Youngstown–Warren area.

History
The Story of Masury
Masury got its name from an early settler. His name was Colonel Fred L. M. Masury.
The 1985 Tornado
A very strong tornado hit Masury on May 31, 1985, at 7:10 p.m. This tornado was an F-5, which is the strongest type. It had winds estimated at over 300 miles per hour. The tornado moved quickly through Masury. It then caused a lot of damage in nearby Wheatland, Pennsylvania. Sadly, one person in Masury died because of this storm.
