Starting in Politics
Maud began her journey in politics early. In 1974, she worked for the youth group of the Centre Party. She also became a member of the local council in Luleå in 1976. From 1992 to 1994, she worked as an advisor in the government, helping the Minister of Labour.
Leading the Centre Party

Political Ideas
Maud Olofsson's political views were typical for the Centre Party. She cared a lot about rural areas in Sweden. She wanted to make sure that small communities in the countryside could thrive.
