Maksim Anatolyevich Korzh (born November 23, 1988), known as Max Korzh, is a popular rapper, singer, songwriter, and director from Belarus. He is known for his unique blend of hip hop, rock, and electronic music.

Max Korzh's Early Life and Music Journey
Max Korzh started his musical journey at a young age. His parents enrolled him in music school. When he was 16, Max formed his first band with friends called "Lun Clan." However, this band did not last long. He tried a few other music projects, but they were not very successful.
How Max Korzh's First Song Became a Hit
While studying at Belarusian State University, Max recorded his first solo song. He decided to leave university in his third year to focus on music. He borrowed $300 from his mom. Then, he went to a studio and recorded "Nebo Pomozhet Nam" (meaning "Sky Will Help Us"). He shared it on VKontakte, a big social network.
Soon after, he joined the military. When he returned, he found out his song had become very popular in Belarus. It was played on the radio and gained many fans. To make it even more popular, Max sent the song to DJs in Minsk. They played it at parties, helping it reach more people.
Max Korzh's Solo Career Highlights
Max Korzh released his first music video for "Nebo Pomozhet Nam" on April 7, 2012. A month later, on May 1, 2012, he released his first album. It was called "Zhivotniy Mir" (meaning "Animal World"). This album had 16 songs, all written by Max himself. Later that year, he signed with a Russian record label called Respect Production.
Max Korzh's First Tours and Big Shows
In early 2013, Max Korzh went on his "The Take-Off March" tour. He performed in Belarus, Ukraine, and Russia. One of his shows was at the Minsk Sports Palace in Belarus. He was worried about filling such a big place. But he decided to go for it, and 6,500 tickets were sold!
In the summer of 2013, Max was nominated for a "Breakthrough Artist" award at the Muz-TV Awards. This showed how quickly he was becoming famous.
On November 2, 2013, Max Korzh made history. He became the first Belarusian artist to sell out a show at Minsk-Arena. This huge venue held 13,000 people. He also sold out a show at Moscow's Luzhniki Palace of Sports.

A well-known Russian magazine, ‘Afisha-Volna’, described Max's music. They called it "pop-rap with club energy and street honesty." They also said his mix of music styles creates "100% bestsellers that tend to stick in your head."
In June 2014, Max Korzh won the "Best Album" award at the Muz-TV Awards. This was for his second album, "Zhit’ V Kaif" (meaning "Life Is Good"). On November 8, 2014, he released his third album, "Domashniy" (meaning "Homely").
In June 2015, Max was nominated for three more Muz-TV Awards. These included "Best Hip-Hop Artist," "Best Album," and "Best Live Show." On December 16, 2017, he had his second sold-out show at Minsk-Arena.
Max released his fourth album in two parts. The first part, "Maliy Povzroslel, Pt.1" (meaning "The Boy Has Grown, Pt.1"), came out in 2016. The second part, "Maliy Povzroslel, Pt.2," was released in 2017. In December 2017, his "Maliy Povzroslel" album won a VK Music Award. In 2018, Max Korzh went on his first tour in the United States.
