The Story of Maysville's Past
Maysville first started in Allen County. Over time, it grew and now stretches into Hardin County as well. This community once had its own post office. It was called Hog Creek, which is a unique name! The Hog Creek post office opened in 1841. It helped people send and receive letters and packages for many years. However, it closed down in 1878.
