Musical Journey
McKinley Dixon was born in Annapolis, Maryland. He later moved to Richmond, Virginia, to attend Virginia Commonwealth University. It was during his college years that he began his music career.
Early Albums
While in college, Dixon released his first two albums. His first, Who Taught You to Hate Yourself?, came out in 2016. He followed it up with The Importance of Self Belief in 2018. These early works helped him develop his unique sound.
Rise to Fame
In 2021, Dixon released his third album, For My Mama and Anyone Who Look Like Her. The album received great reviews from music critics. They praised it for being a creative mix of different styles.
