Meaghan has a younger brother named Jesse Rath. He is also an actor. She studied Cinema and Communications at Dawson College.
On May 16, 2020, Meaghan married English actor Jack Cutmore-Scott. They got married at their home in Hollywood Hills. She shared that she was expecting a baby in July 2021. Their first son was born later that year. Their second son was born in 2023.
