Medellín is a small village in Spain. It is located in the province of Badajoz, within the Extremadura region. This village is famous for a few important reasons.
It is the birthplace of Hernán Cortés, a well-known explorer, who was born here in 1485. Medellín was also the site of an important battle during the Peninsular War.
