Megan Boone (born April 29, 1983) is an American actress and producer. She is widely recognized for her role as FBI agent Elizabeth Keen. This character was part of the NBC drama series The Blacklist.
Megan also had a repeating role in Law & Order: LA. She appeared in The Underground Railroad (2022). This series was created by Barry Jenkins. It was based on a 2016 novel by Colson Whitehead. Earlier in her career, she acted in popular films. These included My Bloody Valentine 3D (2009) and Step Up Revolution (2012).

Megan Boone was born in Petoskey, Michigan. She grew up in The Villages, Florida. Her family moved there when she was young. They wanted to be closer to her grandparents. Her grandfather, H. Gary Morse, helped develop The Villages. Her mother, Jennifer Parr, works in sales there. Megan has a sister named Paige and a brother named Harper. She also has a half-brother named Hudson.
Boone studied acting at Belleview High School. She graduated from there in 2001. In 2005, she earned a degree in Acting. This was from Florida State University's School of Theatre. She learned from famous actors like Jane Alexander. She also worked with playwright Mark Medoff. In 2017, Boone started studying for an MBA degree. This was in Sustainability at Bard College in New York.

Her most famous role began in 2013. She played FBI agent Elizabeth Keen in The Blacklist. This show was very popular with both critics and viewers. On June 15, 2021, it was announced she would leave The Blacklist. This happened after season 8. She then signed a deal with Sony Pictures Television.
In 2017, Megan became a spokesperson. She spoke about climate and environmental laws. She used her acting platform to raise awareness. She helped support laws in New York. These included the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act. She also supported the Birds and Bees Protection Act. This law bans certain pesticides.
