Meghana Lokesh is an Indian actress. She is well-known for her roles in TV shows, especially in the Telugu and Kannada languages. She became famous for her part in the TV series Sasirekha Parinayam. This show aired from 2013 to 2016 on the Star Maa channel. In it, she played two characters: Sasi B.Tech and Devayani.
Meghana also played multiple roles in other popular TV series. For example, in the Zee Telugu show Kalyana Vaibhogam (2017-2023), she acted as Manga, Nithya, and Divya. She was also Tulasi in Raktha Sambandham (2018-2021) on Zee Telugu. Later, she played Chaitra and Alakananda in Kalyanam Kamaneeyam (2022-2023), also on Zee Telugu.
Early Life and First Roles
Meghana Lokesh was born in Mysore, Karnataka, India. Her father is an engineer, and her mother teaches Kannada. She also has a brother who is an engineer. Meghana started acting in theatre at a very young age. She was only 8 years old when she began.
She performed in about 270 theatre shows before finishing her college degree. Her teacher and guide in theatre was Mandya Ramesh. Meghana started her career on TV with a small role. This was in the Kannada TV show Devi, which was shown on Zee Kannada.
Meghana's first main role was in the Kannada TV series Pavitra Bandhana. In this show, she played the character named Pavitra. After that, she also worked in another Kannada TV series called Purushottama, which aired on Zee Kannada.
Becoming a Star
Meghana's big break came with the Telugu TV series Sasirekha Parinayam. This popular show was broadcast on Star Maa from 2013 to 2016. She also acted in a movie called Idhi Ma Prema Katha. She starred alongside Anchor Ravi in this film.
In 2017, Meghana appeared in two Telugu short films. These films were called Emotion and Beautiful Life. Later that year, she began a new Zee Telugu series, Kalyana Vaibhogam. In this show, she played two characters, Manga and Nithya. In 2018, she was in a film named Ameerpet 2 America. Around the same time, she was chosen for a main role in her third Telugu TV show. This show was titled Raktha Sambandham.
