Melhem Zein (Arabic: ملحم زين) is a famous singer from Lebanon. He was born on October 21, 1982. People often call him "The Boss" because of his powerful voice. He is well-known for singing traditional Lebanese songs.

Early Steps in Music
Melhem Zein started his music journey when he was young. At just 16 years old, he joined a TV show called Kaas Al Nojoum. This means "The Cup of the Stars." It was a singing competition for new singers. He sang a song called "Ya Jarat Al Wadi" by the famous artist Mohammed Abd El Wahhab. This show was on the LBC Channel in Lebanon.
Becoming a Super Star
Later, Melhem Zein became even more famous. He took part in a big singing competition called Super Star. This show was like the "Pop Idol" series, but for the whole Arab world. Many people from different Arab countries watched it. Melhem Zein did very well in the competition. He finished in third place in the first season of Super Star.
