Mercedes Ron López (born June 3, 1993) is a popular author from Argentina who now lives in Spain. She is best known for her exciting Culpables Saga (Guilty Saga) book series. These books first became famous on Wattpad, a website where writers can share their stories. The first book in the series, Culpa Mía (My Fault), was even made into a movie in 2023!

Early Life and Education
Mercedes Ron was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She studied Audiovisual Communication at the University of Seville in Spain. This helped her learn about different ways to tell stories.
Writing Career
Mercedes Ron started her writing journey in 2015 on Wattpad. This online platform is where writers can share their stories with readers. She began writing her first big hit, Culpa Mía, on Wattpad.
In 2016, her talent was recognized when she won a Wattys Award badge. These awards celebrate popular stories on Wattpad.
In March 2017, her novel Culpa Mía was officially published by Montena, a part of Penguin Random House. This meant her story could reach even more readers. Later that year, the second book in the series, Culpa Tuya, was released. The third and final book, Culpa Nuestra, came out in July 2018. She even presented this book at the International Book Fair in Lima, Peru.
After the success of the Culpables Trilogy, Mercedes Ron continued to write more books. In May 2019, she released Marfíl, followed by Ébano in October of the same year.
