Meredith Leigh Monroe (born December 30, 1969) is an American actress. She is well-known for playing Andie McPhee on the TV show Dawson's Creek from 1998 to 2003. She also had important roles as Haley Hotchner on Criminal Minds and Carolyn Standall on 13 Reasons Why.

Meredith Monroe's Early Life and Career
Meredith Monroe was born on December 30, 1969, in Houston, Texas. When she was two years old, her parents separated. She then grew up in Hinsdale, Illinois. After finishing high school at Hinsdale Central High School, she moved to New York. There, she started a career in modeling.
In 1995, Meredith appeared in many TV commercials. She also featured in magazine ads for popular brands. These included L'Oreal hair products, Disney Resort, Huffy bicycles, Ford cars, and Mattel toys.
Starting Her Acting Journey
Meredith Monroe began acting in 1996. Her first role was Tracy Dalken in the ABC series Dangerous Minds. After this, she had a small, repeated role on Sunset Beach. She played Rachel, a pregnant teenager.
This led to her becoming a regular cast member on Dawson's Creek. She played the character Andie McPhee. Meredith was a main character in seasons 2 and 3. She also appeared in some episodes of season 4. She was a special guest star in the final episode of season 6. However, her scenes were only shown on the DVD version.
Famous TV Roles
Meredith Monroe is also famous for her role in Criminal Minds. She played Haley Hotchner, who was the wife of character Aaron Hotchner. Her character left the show after a sad event involving a villain in the 100th episode.
In 2018, she joined the cast of 13 Reasons Why. In season two, she played Carolyn, the mother of Alex Standall.
