Michèle Lorrain was born in 1960 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Today, she lives and works in a place called Sainte-Louise, Quebec. She studied art at two different universities: first at Université Laval, and then she earned a higher degree in Fine Arts from the Université du Québec à Montréal. This means she spent many years learning and practicing her art skills.

Michèle Lorrain is known for her unique art pieces. One of her cool installation artworks is called in my yard. This piece was set up in September 2015 on the north wall of the Vimont Community Center in Laval, Quebec. Imagine seeing a large piece of art built right onto a building!
