Michael Cherry's Running Journey
Michael Cherry was born in Brooklyn, New York. He started running track and field when he was younger. He went to college at Florida State and then LSU. There, he continued to improve his running skills.
Winning Medals for Team USA
Michael has been a key part of the United States track and field team. He often runs in the 4 × 400-meter relay race. This is a team race where four runners each run 400 meters.
- In 2014, Michael won a gold medal at the World Junior Championships. This was for the 4 × 400-meter relay.
