Michael L. Vaughn is an American politician born on November 12, 1957. He served as a representative for District 24 in the Maryland House of Delegates. He was a member of the Democratic Party and held his position from 2003 until 2017.

Early Life and Career
Michael L. Vaughn was born in Tuskegee, Alabama. He grew up in Prince George's County, Maryland. He attended DuVal High School there. Later, he went to Southern University, where he also played football. After college, Mr. Vaughn worked as an investment advisor. He worked for companies like Merrill Lynch and Fidelity Investments.
Time in the Legislature
Mr. Vaughn was a member of the Maryland House of Delegates for many years. He served from January 8, 2003, to January 11, 2017. In 2006, he was chosen to be the Deputy Majority Whip. This role helps organize votes and support the party's goals.
He was also part of the House Economic Matters Committee. This committee works on laws about money and business. Mr. Vaughn was the chairman of the science and technology part of this committee.
