Michael was known for playing in positions like centre, winger, or fullback. During his career, he played for three well-known teams: the Sydney Roosters, the St. George Illawarra Dragons, and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

Early Life and Junior Career

Michael Lett was born in Penrith, New South Wales, Australia. He went to Sarah Redfern High School. While he was still in school, he showed great talent in rugby league. In 2004, he was chosen to play for the Australian Schoolboys team. This team is made up of the best young players from schools across Australia.

Michael also played for the Junior Kangaroos. This is another important team for young, promising players. He played for them on October 8, 2005, in a game against Papua New Guinea. This match took place in Darwin, Northern Territory.

Professional Playing Career

Michael Lett began his professional journey with the Sydney Roosters. He made his first appearance in the National Rugby League on June 17, 2005. This was during Round 15 of the 2005 NRL Premiership season. His first game was against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at Toyota Park. He played three games for the Roosters in that season.

After his time with the Roosters, Michael joined the St. George Illawarra Dragons. He played for the Dragons for three seasons, from 2008 to 2010. He scored his very first try for St. George Illawarra in Round 10 of the 2008 NRL season. This memorable moment happened during a game against the Melbourne Storm at ANZ Stadium.

In 2011, Michael Lett moved to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. He played two games for the Bulldogs and managed to score two tries during his time there. After these games, he returned to play for the NSW Cup team, which is a league below the NRL. He helped his team win the grand final in that competition. Later, Michael played for the Picton Magpies in the Group 6 Rugby League competition.
