Michael Lett, born on March 11, 1987, is a former professional rugby league player from Australia. He played for big teams like the Sydney Roosters, St. George Illawarra Dragons, and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the National Rugby League (NRL). He usually played as a centre.

Michael Lett's Early Life and Teams

Michael Lett was born in Penrith, New South Wales, Australia. When he was in high school at Sarah Redfern, he played for the Australian Schoolboys rugby league team in 2004. This is a special team for talented young players.

He also played for the Junior Kangaroos team on October 8, 2005. They played against Papua New Guinea in Darwin.

Michael Lett's Professional Rugby League Career

Michael Lett started his professional career with the Sydney Roosters. His first National Rugby League game was on June 17, 2005. This was during Round 15 of the 2005 NRL Premiership season. He played against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at Toyota Park. He played three games for the Roosters that year.

After that, Lett joined the St. George Illawarra Dragons. He played for them for three seasons, from 2008 to 2010. He scored his first try (which is like a touchdown in rugby) for the Dragons in 2008. This happened in Round 10 of the 2008 NRL season against the Melbourne Storm at ANZ Stadium.

In 2011, Lett moved to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. He played only two games for them and scored two tries. After his time with the Bulldogs, Lett went back to play for their NSW Cup team. He helped them win a big championship game, called a grand final. Later, he played for the Picton Magpies in the Group 6 Rugby League competition.

In May 2012, Michael Lett decided to stop playing professional football. He wanted to start a career in mining. This new job would help him earn more money to support his young family.
