Her Early Life

Michal Lerner was born in a place called Kibbutz Ein Hahoresh. A kibbutz is a special community in Israel where people live and work together. Her parents, who came from Belgium, helped start this kibbutz. Michal studied Hebrew literature and theater at Tel Aviv University. She is married to Zvi Elpeleg.

Michal Snunit's Writing Journey

From 1975 to 1979, Michal Snunit worked as an editor for a weekly magazine. Besides her books for young readers, she has written articles about children's books. She also wrote songs for children's musicals.
