Early life and education
Michelle Borth was born and grew up in New York City. Her mother owns a business that helps fix up homes. Michelle has two younger brothers. When she was younger, she wanted to be a gymnast. But then, she discovered acting at a camp and loved it! She went to Pace University and earned a degree in Theater and Art History in 2001.
Acting career highlights
Michelle Borth has appeared in many movies and TV shows. Some of her early films include Wonderland and Silent Warnings. She also made guest appearances on popular TV shows like Supernatural and Law & Order: SVU. You might have even seen her in a Burger King advertisement or a John Mayer music video!
In 2008, she filmed an independent film called TiMER. From 2009 to 2010, she was a main cast member on ABC's The Forgotten. She also appeared in the TNT series Dark Blue.
Playing Catherine Rollins in Hawaii Five-0
In 2010, Michelle Borth joined the cast of Hawaii Five-0 on CBS. She played Lt. Catherine Rollins, who was the girlfriend of the main character, Steve McGarrett. She was a recurring character at first. Later, she became a regular cast member for seasons 3 and 4.
After season 4, she left the show. However, she returned as a guest star several times. She appeared in the show's fifth-season finale. She also had a recurring role in the first few episodes of season 6. Michelle Borth even came back for the show's 150th episode and another episode in season 8. Her character was a big part of the show for many years.
Other notable roles
In 2011, Michelle Borth starred in the Canadian TV show Combat Hospital. She played Major Rebecca Gordon, a surgeon in the Canadian Forces. This show was about a hospital in a war zone.
More recently, she appeared in the 2019 superhero movie Shazam!. In the movie, she played the adult version of Mary Bromfield, who is a superhero.
