Michelle Borth is an American actress. She is best known for playing Catherine Rollins on the popular CBS television show Hawaii Five-0. She also played important roles in the TV shows The Forgotten and Tell Me You Love Me. Many people also know her as the superhero version of Mary Bromfield in the movie Shazam!.

Early Life and School

Michelle Borth was born and raised in New York City. Her mother, who is of Italian heritage, runs a home improvement business. Michelle has two younger brothers.

When she was young, she dreamed of becoming a gymnast. However, she discovered a love for acting while at a camp. This new passion led her to study acting in college. She went to Pace University and graduated in 2001. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which is a special college degree for subjects like acting and art.

Acting Career

First Roles on Screen

Michelle Borth started her acting career with roles in movies and TV shows. Some of her early films include Wonderland and Silent Warnings. She also appeared in a music video for the John Mayer song "Bigger Than My Body".

She had guest roles on popular TV shows like Supernatural and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. In 2009, she joined the cast of the ABC show The Forgotten, where she appeared in 17 episodes.

Becoming Famous with Hawaii Five-0

A big moment in Michelle's career came in 2010. She began appearing on the hit CBS show Hawaii Five-0. She played Lieutenant Catherine Rollins, a Navy officer and the girlfriend of the main character, Steve McGarrett.

Her character was so popular that in 2012, she became a main cast member for the third and fourth seasons. After leaving as a main character, she returned many times as a guest star. Her final appearance was in 2020, showing how important her character was to the series.

Other Major Roles

In 2011, Michelle starred in a Canadian TV show called Combat Hospital. She played Major Rebecca Gordon, a surgeon in the Canadian Forces. The show only lasted for one season.

A fun role for her came in 2019 with the superhero movie Shazam!. In the film, she played the adult superhero form of Mary Bromfield, one of the main character's foster siblings.
